Consultations
Commuteride’s Marketing and Outreach staff is available to meet with you at your convenience to discuss your organization’s alternative transportation needs, programs that may save you money and our employer services. We can help you formulate a transportation plan.

Referrals to Employers
Several of our active Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC's - individuals who act as point people and help employees with alternative transportation), would be happy to talk with you about the features and benefits of their programs. We can provide you with contact information for state and city agencies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and private and retail businesses that have active alternative transportation programs in the Treasure Valley. More information

Marketing, Outreach & Education
Commuteride regularly organizes alternative transportation professional development opportunities like our ETC Meetings and promotes Net Conferences through our Membership in the Association for Commuter Transportation. These and many other alternative transportation opportunities are promoted via our electronic newsletter specifically for employers.

Workplace Surveys
Commuteride has developed a new Employee Survey (March 2006) to help you assess your employee's commute patterns and interests in commute alternatives. The survey can help guide your development of an alternative transportation benefits program for your company and employees. More information

GIS Employee Mapping
The challenge of knowing which employees share a similar commute might be one of the significant hurdles to ridesharing. What if you had a map of all of your employees and it was color coded by work hour and/or shift? Commuteride can provide you with such a map, for FREE, and your employee’s data remains confidential! Contact our Marketing and Outreach staff.

Events
Our Marketing and Outreach staff is available to attend your health and benefits and transportation fairs or special events like Earth Day. We are always happy to attend these types of events to discuss commute alternatives with your employees. Please contact us if you would like us to help you plan and/or attend your fair or special event.

Rideshare Database
Currently commuters have two options for finding a rideshare partner. Give Commuteride a call at 345-POOL (7665) or click on our Rideshare link and submit a form electronically. Either way, individuals will be on their way to finding a rideshare partner. FYI, in the next year and a half Commuteride will be transitioning to a dynamic/real-time ridematching system where you will be able to get instantaneous matches!

Vanpool
Vanpooling is a great option for long and medium distance commuters who have limited alternative transportation options. Vanpools can save your employees money and it’s very likely that they will experience a more relaxed commute as they share the driving or sit back and enjoy the ride. More information

Incentives
Guaranteed Ride Home, Transi-Cheks, Vanpool Incentives and Commuter Tax Benefits are some of the many incentives that may be available to commuters who use an alternative to driving alone. Discounted Valley Ride Employer Monthly Bus Passes and information about Park and Ride lots are other benefits that Employers can provide to their employees at no cost. More information
